Isn’t it great when the birds are there exactly when and where you want them to be?! 🙂
We added several new species today, including our two targets, Golden-winged Warbler and Henslow’s Sparrow. We also had a Ruffed Grouse drumming as we entered Fiznel Swamp near Frostburg, Maryland. SUPER cool!
I’m now at 268 species for the year and hoping to get back out tomorrow to reach 270 before I step foot in Texas on Sunday!
These guys CLEARLY ‘got the memo’ this morning and were EXACTLY where we wanted them to be!
What a beautiful GWW!! This year was our first sighting. So exhilarating. Your photos are fantastic.
